Today is spent exploring the 5000 acre private reserve and surrounding Hwange National Park. Choose from the many activities included in your stay such as Game drives, night drives, walks on the concession, visits to the look up hide, visits to the Rhino sanctuary and meet the Cobra Rangers (who guard the Rhinos 24/7), village visits and tour of a local school (not available during school holidays). There is also an option for Horseback riding (at additional cost).

At Bomani we do not have rigid schedules and timetables for you, our guests. Instead we prefer to tailor your time around you - it's your safari after all! Choose to be woken with coffee in bed, before joining your guide on a sunrise game drive inside the Park or, opt for a relaxing lie-in before visiting the nearby village and school for insight into the daily lives of the local people. Our friendly and knowledgeable guides will take you on walks or drives inside this truly wild and remote region of Hwange National Park, famous for its giants, the elephants, and a plethora of other wildlife. Other activities include all day 'pump runs', night drives, the Look Up Hide and transfers into and out of camp on our one of a kind Elephant express rail car. After breakfast at your camp, board your vehicles and head out on the 'pump run' to Jozibanini Camp. This is actually an extended game drive between the two camps (approx. 6 hours) and includes a stop for a picnic lunch along the way. Enroute, you may also stop to resupply waterholes. Arrive at your camp late afternoon.

Jozibanini Camp is situated in the remote south west of Hwange National Park in a wilderness unused for nearly 20 years; only the wildlife and the Parks rangers who look after it frequent this area, once roamed by San people. This is a small, truly exclusive camp in a truly wild place, providing a unique, untamed wilderness experience. The ecosystem here is semi-desert akin to the Kalahari in neighbouring Botswana. Ancient windblown fossil sand dunes are separated by shallow valleys where elephant paths have compacted the terrain, providing Imvelo with the opportunity for a unique experiment of game viewing by mountain bike. Imvelo is breaking new ground in Hwange in terms of the remoteness of the location and the uniqueness of the environment.

After breakfast at your camp, transfer to the airstrip in time for your onward light aircraft flight to Victoria Falls. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel where the remainder of the day is at your leisure.

After breakfast this morning, embark on your morning tour of Victoria Falls. Tour the Zimbabwean side, with numerous spectacular vantage points along the width of the Falls, and the sight of this astounding gift of nature, simply takes your breath away. Walk through the permanent, beautifully misty rain forest which flanks the Falls, stopping to marvel at the principal sites as it cascades to the depths below the Main Falls, Horseshoe Falls, Rainbow Falls, the Boiling Pot, Cataract Island and Livingstone Island. We'll stand and watch, feel and listen to the spray and thunderous noise, as millions of litres of water tumble over the Falls into a series of narrow gorges below. The seventh Natural Wonder of the World puts on the most dramatic show for you, and you'll be privileged to have watched it.
