Southern Route - Some of the highlights of the Southern route include seeing some wildlife at Vredenheim, enjoying a Brandy Tasting tour at the Van Ryn Brandy Distillery where the cooper shows off his ancient art of barrel making, go pet an Eagle at Spier or just relax with a chocolate and wine tasting at Bilton wines. Kleine Zalze is always a great way to end the day with a delicious wine tasting overlooking the Stellenbosch Mountain. Simonsig with its great wine and views or Knorhoek, a family owned and operated wine estate with a small intimate wine tasting area. For the more energetic, you could always rent a bike or go on a hike at Delvera after doing an olive tasting at the Olive shed.
