Amazing Experience

Overview

Trip Overview

Spend 4 days in the world’s most evocative ancient city. Carrying your Open Tour bus pass, create the perfect Rome tour to suit your interests each day.

Whether you're religious or not, a visit to St Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel is sure to impress. Follow up with a few hours at the Vatican’s museums if you’re really keen. Outside the Pope’s domain, there’s no substitute for the ancient grandeur of the Colosseum or Roman Forum, and you should definitely take time to visit the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon, and toss a coin in the Trevi Fountain. There’s much to be said however for just finding an old fashioned Roman trattoria, sitting down to espresso and biscoti, and watching the eternal city zip by – probably on dozens of mopeds. The City of Seven Hills can be as romantic as it is historic, so even if Rome seems to live up to its reputation for traffic and chaos, stay on foot and find your own style of la dolce vita.
