Meal

Breakfast, Lunch

The morning is at leisure to enjoy free time at the hotel in Dubai or probably explore more of the city on your own.

The highlight of any visit to Dubai is undoubtedly this amazing tour. The tour starts in private luxury 4X4 vehicles, from the hotel in Dubai, heading out towards the desert. At the entrance of the desert, the tires will be deflated and then the fun starts. Dune-bashing is one of the highlights of this tour; feel the thrill of desert driving as the vehicle drives up and then slides down the golden dunes. A beautiful photo stop on top of the dune is also included before arrival at the Bedouin camp. No bedouin experience is complete with a traditional cup of Arabic coffee and a camel ride. This is followed by a typical barbeque dinner, prepared on the open fire, and of course, a magical belly dancing show to complete the evening.

Meal

Breakfast, Dinner

Time has just come to say goodbye to UAE! Around 3 hours prior to your flight departure time, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Dubai International Airport to join your flight to Bali, Indonesia.

Upon clearing Customs and Immigration, you will meet with your guide and take your private transfer to your hotel in South Bali where you will spend the next 4 nights.

Merusaka Nusa Dua

Located at the heart of the secure gated, exclusive compound of ITDC Nusa Dua area, merusaka is awash with tropical natural beauty. Turquoise waters lap at white-sand shores of Mengiat Beach and swaying palm trees, the stunning landscape is exquisitely complemented with the vibrant culture of Bali.

Merusaka Nusa Dua

Spend a full day discovering the natural beauty and ancient relics of the Balinese midlands. Meet your guide and driver and then start the day with a visit to Pura Taman Ayun, the 17th Century temple of Mengwi, set in a beautiful park with trees and ponds full of lotus blossoms. The large spacious temples and multi-tiered shrines are surrounded by a wide, elegant moat. Continue to Bedugul, a village in the central highlands famous for its stunning beauty and three lakes. Stroll around the traditional market where a myriad of fruits, vegetables, orchids, exotic spices and souvenirs are for sale. At the nearby Lake Beratan photograph the Ulun Danu temple, built on small islands in the serene lake.

After lunch in a local restaurant drive southwards to the famous UNESCO heritage listed rice terraces of Jatiluwih. Trek through this area of green stepped rice fields and hear about the Subak irrigation system that has been preserved by the Balinese farmers for centuries. Return to your hotel via scenic roads.

Time: approx. 08:30-17:00

Note: Wear comfortable shoes for walking, bring hat and sunscreen.

Meal

Breakfast, Lunch

Get back to nature and spend a morning living the traditional life of a local farmer. After breakfast, meet your driver and tour guide and set off towards Tabanan, a beautiful area of rolling green landscapes, terraced rice fields and looming mountains. As this is such a fertile area most of the island’s farming is carried out here.

On arrival in the village, you will be welcomed by some of the local farmers. Chat together over a healthy drink and hear how they respect nature and how rituals and prayer play an important role in their lives. They will explain about Subak, an age-old, ingenious irrigation system that gives everybody on the island water rights so all rice fields receive equal water throughout the year. As well as learning about their daily life you will also be shown how coconut oil is produced and how to bake traditional Balinese cake. After coffee and some of the delicious cake, join one of the farmers on a walk through the rice fields. Help out with the daily chores either planting, transplanting or harvesting the rice, depending on the season. After the hard work, refresh yourself with a young coconut drink and then walk to a traditional Balinese house for lunch.

Meal

Breakfast, Lunch

Experience an evening of Kecak dancing at a cliff top temple followed by a barbeque seafood dinner under the stars.

In the late afternoon you will be taken to the location of the famous cliff hanging temple at Uluwatu. Perched on the edge of a steep cliff, the temple sits 70 metres above the crashing waves of the Indian Ocean. The temple is inhabited by a large number of monkeys, many of whom can be found roaming the pathways. As the sun sets over the glittering ocean, watch a dramatic Kecak Dance or Ramayana Monkey Chant performance at the temple. Wearing traditional checked cloth around their waists, the male dancers chant in unison while depicting a battle from the Ramayana. After the performance drive to one of the beautiful beaches for a seafood dinner by the beach. Choose from a tantalizing array of fresh seafood options, including prawns, crab and crispy squid. Don't forget to savor the unique flavors of "kangkung," also known as Indonesian water spinach, and spice up your meal with the fiery notes of sambal, the quintessential Indonesian sauce.
