Your family trip to Italy begins in Rome, a city that’ll leave you dazzled with all that it has to offer. With ancient wonders, fashionable culture, and unbeatable food, Rome is the perfect city to explore with family. A private walking tour will showcase some of the most popular landmarks in the city, from the Spanish Steps to the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. Another day, take part in a cooking class at That’s Amore Restaurant and learn to make pizza in a hands-on kitchen environment. Spend the rest of your time seeing the sights you missed, such as the remains of Ancient Rome such as the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill.

Ride the train to Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance, where you along with your kids will discover the city’s history and culture, best exemplified by its gorgeous buildings and delicious food. Head on a private walking tour to see a few of the most notable buildings, including the Duomo, with Brunelleschi’s famous cupola. Then trace the footsteps of Dante and Michelangelo before heading to the Accademia Gallery to see Michaelangelo’s masterpiece “David.” The next day, join a cooking class to learn to make Tuscan favourites, from ragout and gelato to tiramisu.

Final stop is Venice, the gorgeous city of canals that used to be a regional capital of commerce and culture. A private two-hour walking tour will take you along the canals to discover popular favourites and hidden gems. Start at St. Mark’s Square, home to the Byzantine basilica, before you head to the birthplace of Marco Polo and learn about Casanova. End your tour at the Rialto Bridge, which unites the city from atop the Grand Canal. Another day, enjoy a quintessential Venetian experience with a gondola ride along the canals. Let an expert gondolier chart a course through the waterways to showcase the beautiful city from the water.

At the end of your tour, you’ll head to the airport to connect back home.
