Your vacation begins in Riga, the capital of Latvia and home to one of the prettiest old towns in Europe. Enjoy an intro to the city’s beautiful architecture on a private walking tour. Begin your exploration of the Old Town at Dome Square. You’ll spot an assortment of buildings made in everything from Romantic to Gothic to Art Nouveau styles. Stop by the House of Blackheads building before reaching Rozena Street, the narrowest street in the country, where you can reach out and touch both sides at oncey. At Black Magic Bar, you’ll enjoy celebrated cocktails and other treats before reaching the Central Market, the centre of the city’s shopping scene. The next day, head on a sightseeing tour into Gauja National Park. You’ll explore the ruins of an old castle in Sigulda, explore the red sandstone cave of Gutman, and climb to the partially-reconstructed ruins of 13th-century Turaida Castle.
From Riga, connect into Estonia to reach the capital, Tallinn. Discover the city’s burgeoning food scene on a private food tasting tour. Stroll through the Old Town on a three hour walk and enjoy samples of local treats, such as creamy pumpkin soup or open-faced spiced sprat sandwiches. While based in Tallinn, you’ll also take a day to explore Lahemaa National Park and Sagadi Manor. You’ll stop by the Sagadi Manor complex and spot migrating cranes in the park. See Oandu Forest and the wetlands of Viru Bog before reaching the village of Kasmu on the side of the peninsula.
At the end of your stay, head to the airport to connect to your onward destination.
