This 11-day trip lets your family discover the best of Australia’s east coast, from action-packed South-East Queensland to tropical Cairns, before taking in the iconic sights of Sydney.

Enjoy an included day trip to Australia Zoo, which has thrilled visitors for over 40 years with displays of crocodile feeding and snake handling. The zoo showcases over 1000 animals, with a focus on ‘conservation through education’. Back in Brisbane, a morning tour brings you the best of sights including Kangaroo Point, St Johns Cathedral and historic Parliament House. A free day on the nearby Gold Coast gives you the chance to take in one of its famous theme parks, or spend the day relaxing on the beach.

Head to tropical Cairns, with its dazzling array of wildlife amid lush forest surrounds. You’ll explore the Great Barrier Reef for a close encounter with the world’s largest coral reef system. Enjoy one of the world’s most scenic train routes as you head deep into tropical rainforest surrounding Kuranda, past spectacular Barron Gorge Falls. A trip onboard the Skyrail carries you high over the forest canopy on your way back to Cairns.

Historic Sydney greets visitors with its sparkling harbour, iconic Harbour Bridge, and the unforgettable Sydney Opera House. Your guided tour takes you to the Opera House, Botanical Gardens and famous Bondi Beach for a taste of Australia’s most diverse city.

An included day trip to the Blue Mountains will inspire you with spectacular views over the Jamison Valley, where the famous Three Sisters gaze out over breathtaking waterfalls and hundreds of walking tracks.

Enjoy an amazing day at Tangalooma Island Resort, just a 75 minute cruise from Brisbane. Go further than land can take you and enjoy a cruise along the Moreton Bay Regions protected marine park. As you motor along the bay in a Glass Bottom Boat you are able to see the marine life beneath the surface. Knowledgeable guides will tell you all about the island and its surrounds. Later, join the local Eco Rangers at dusk to hand feed a member of the wild dolphin family. This experience is undoubtedly the highlight of any visit to Tangalooma. Join snakes, free flight birds and crocs Live in the world-famous Crocoseum. Get your adrenalin pumping as you see a crocodile launch a strike from the water's edge. Visit the Tiger Temple, and see the Sumatran and Bengal tigers and have an opportunity to get up close with these magnificent big cats and witness their power.

Kuranda Classic Tour with Train Skyrail Rainforest Cableway and Rainforestation

The Classic Kuranda Experience includes the main attractions of Kuranda, but gives you more free time to explore Kuranda. You will travel to Kuranda by scenic railway and then spend some free time in the village. Wander through the many shops and local markets, which offer a full range of local handicrafts, souvenirs, and gifts.

You will then be transferred to Rainforestation Nature Park, where you will enjoy a delicious Australian BBQ lunch, a guided tour of the rainforest on board an amphibious Army Duck, and the Pamagirri Aboriginal Dance performance, followed by the Dreamtime Walk. You will learn how to throw a boomerang, see a spear-throwing demonstrations, and learn about aboriginal culture.

A guided tour of the Koala and Wildlife Park will commence at the Cultural Centre. Your coach will then transfer you to Kuranda Skyrail Terminal for the 7.5 kilometre Skyrail Rainforest Cableway journey down the mountain. Your coach will then return you to your accommodation.

Morning Panoramic Sydney Sights

Depart your hotel for an unforgettable Panoramic Sydney half day city sights tour. On tour you will visit the historic Rocks area and hear of early convict history. We continue through the financially focused Central Business District (CBD), and Macquarie Street. Marvel at 18th century sandstone architecture such as NSW Parliament House, Rum Hospital, Hyde Park Barracks and St Mary’s Cathedral. We will continue to Mrs Macquaries Point, to enjoy magnificent views of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge.

We then continue through Sydneys Eastern Suburbs, home to the rich and famous. Travelling along the coves and shores of one of the worlds most impressive harbours, we will take a few stops for photo opportunities, including a panoramic photo of Sydney skyline. You will pass through areas such as Kings Cross, Double Bay, Rose Bay before arriving at Watsons Bay, passengers will have the option a short coastal walk with views of the South Pacific Ocean and the entrance to Sydney harbour.
Travel on to famous Bondi Beach where we enjoy a short stop of approximately 30 minutes. Visit the beachfront promenade, put your toes in the sand, enjoy a coffee or cool drink (at own cost). See bronzed Aussie lifesavers and surfers riding the waves of Bondi

Re-board your bus and continue on to Tamarama and Bronte beaches before returning to the city via Centennial Park and Paddington, a trendy district with its elegant terrace houses and boutique shops along Oxford Street.

Final stop of the day is Darling Harbour. Your tour will end at Darling Harbour or Circular Quay. You will need to make your way back to your hotel.

The Hop On Hop Off Harbour Explorer pass is the easy way for visitors to explore Sydney over 2 calendar days visiting famous harbour precincts including Darling Harbour, Circular Quay (The Rocks and Opera House), Taronga Zoo, Watsons Bay, Manly, Shark Island and more with full commentary.
