Your journey takes you to the English capital, London, a city that has long defined culture in the western world. The Original London Sightseeing Tour is a great way to see some of the historical landmarks that you’ve heard about but never seen in person. Ride the double-decker bus around the city and hop off at popular landmarks that pique your interest, such as Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, and St. Paul’s Cathedral. The next day, venture into the magical world of Harry Potter with a behind-the-scenes tour of Warner Bros. Studio London. Tour movie sets, see props and costumes and learn about the filmmaking wizardry that made the beloved movies possible. On another day, head to the famous university towns of Oxford and Cambridge to tour famous landmarks such as Christ Church College, King’s College, and the Bridge of Sighs, seeing some Harry Potter filming locations along the way.
Back in London, head to the Tower of London to learn about the bloody history behind this white fortification. See the Crown Jewels and join an iconic Beefeater tour to hear the grisly stories behind this erstwhile castle and prison. Later, visit Madame Tussauds to see wax recreations of some of your favourite historical figures, movie characters, and legendary heroes. Afterwards, skip the line at the London Eye to enjoy amazing 360° views over the city, seeing Buckingham Palace and St. Paul’s from high above. Round out your tour of London with a full-day Harry Potter journey taking you to more than 20 filming locations around the city. Pass outside the bank that served as Gringotts, see the Leaky Cauldron from the first film, and cross the Millennium Bridge, which was destroyed by Death Eaters in The Half-Blood Prince. Round out the tour by seeing the outside of Grimmauld Place (it does exist!), stepping onto Platform 9 ¾ at King’s Cross Station, and ending outside the Ministry of Magic.
At the end of your stay, you’ll head to the airport to connect back home.
